Characteristic building with geometric solids

Spatial mock-ups of buildings characteristic of a given country created by students

Students worked in groups to create spatial mock-ups of buildings characteristic of a given country. The works was created in the appropriate scale using solids. The students made appropriate measurements, replaced units, and calculated the area of figures. Through the implementation of this task, students shaped spatial imagination, constructed models of spatial figures as well as manual and model skills. The work of willing pupils under teacher's care, was conducted in partner's schools in the form of a competition.
