The fourth (Virtual) Meeting in Pila, Poland

Meeting report
The main goal of the project during this mobility was to sum up the work on implementation of the project so we dealt with sharing and discussing good practice in teaching mathematics. For the most of teachers and students it was quite new experience to organize virtual meeting. Participating in tasks and quizzes have been organized in different way than have planned before but it has been as exciting as in real life. There were shown the virtual presentation of Stanislav Staszic Primary School No 1 in Pila and virtual presentations of Greater Poland, Pila and the capital city of Poland – Warszawa. The partners have learned also about the educational system in Poland. All presentations have been prepared by students. On the meeting all teams had presented their work as part of the "Europe in numbers" project, related to Poland and Pila.
There were also developed maths activities involving both students and teachers. Teachers had the opportunity to discuss techniques and methods for promoting a better way to mathematics teaching.
There were maths quizzes and competitions. Students and teachers took part in the quiz about the project and partners' countries. The students also took part in the competition " The queen and king of Mathematics". Students had to solve the tasks prepared by Polish team. Beside that "Mathematics in poetry" reading competition was held. Students had to present the poems about mathematics given by polish team in two age categories, make the video and send it to the coordinator. During the meeting all coordinators presented the students reading poems. All partners voted for the best presented poem.
There were maths games and activities for students made on kahoot platform, too. Students had the opportunity to join learning with playing. Dissemination of good practice were prepared by all partners as 10 minuts presentation.
Each participant received the participation certificates by e-mail and diplomas for participating in competitions.
In the meeting 19 teachers and 37 students have participated.
In the end of the meeting there was reflection, evaluation and discussion about virtual meeting.
